We finally made it to Washington on Christmas morning (in our free First Class seats!) and found lots of snow! We were really glad that we canceled our rental car because it would have
never made it up the road to my parents house. It snowed for two days then turned to rain and some melting - just enough to make the road
really slick! Just when the grass started peeking through the snow, it snowed again! For those of you who are unfamiliar with western WA winter weather - this is
not normal! My parents have never had snow continuously on the ground for four weeks! Here are a few pics from our great trip home for the holidays...

Glad you guys had a better trip getting home than coming up. You better come home again for Cal's b-day party :) I was telling Ian that hopefully the driveaway is ok in Feb...
