Well, I guess one more post....
We were at the Phoenix Airport on time this morning to catch our flight to Seattle, but didn't make the flight. Apparently Alaska Airlines was so back-logged with luggage from cancelled flights that they weren't accepting any pets arriving in Seattle. It was taking them several hours to process pets that were coming in and that was too long to leave them out in the winter weather on the tarmac, hence a pet embargo in Seattle. And since we didn't have a back-up plan for Elli, we had to re-schedule for the next available time - Christmas morning! So, we're back in Yuma now, making arrangements for Elli to be kenneled while we're gone and trying to figure out how we're going to fill the huge void of things to do in Yuma over the next couple days!! I guess we'll always remember the first (and probably last) time we tried to fly over the holidays!

Could be worse. My mom was scheduled to fly out Monday morning at 1am. Their flight (and everybody else's) was canceled. So they are driving! They should be here late, late, late tomorrow. And of course they have to leave early too because it will take so long to drive back home (about 38hrs nonstop). We miss you guys. Happy holidays and say hello to your folks and Papa for us.
HI Amy ..we hear ya! Julie told us about your travel problems! We were fortunate to get out of Seattle to HAwaii...we just haven't had our luggage for the last 3 days! I won't be flying during the holidays again!
Ugh, that is so frustrating. Not the year to be traveling... Well, we can't wait to see you guys when you get here and Callahan can't wait to play with his cousins!
