NEW HOUSE!

Well, we've been busy since Christmas, so I have a lot of pictures on this post.
We found out right before Christmas that Jason got a job in Great Falls, MT, so we'll be moving up there mid-February. YEAH! No more Yuma summers with small children trapped in the house all day! Jason went up to Great Falls a couple weeks ago (and lucked out with a break in the cold weather - it was in the 40s and 50s, but now it's back down to barely 0) and made an offer on a house! We're planning to close the deal on Feb. 11th and move in the week after that. Since he got back we've been packing, packing, and more packing (we're moving ourselves this time). Below are some pictures of the house and a couple cute ones of the kids too.

Street View
Front sun room, just inside front door (needs new flooring!)
Main floor bath
View from kitchen of dining room and living room (Yes, the carpet is almost white. That will need to go!)
My new bedroom vanity and walk-in closet!KitchenKitchen bay window looking out on back yard
Kitchen pantry and what I like to call a "clutter collection" corner
Basement laundry area
One of two play areas (they're connected by the open window on the left of the shelves and a walk-through on the right of the shelves) in the basement
View from second play area into one of two basement bedrooms
Back of house
Two-car garage
Front window view - Jason said all the houses on the street DO NOT look like that! Too bad we couldn't get that one! :)
When you don't nap, you fall asleep at the dinner table
New tutu

We're so excited for all the changes ahead and hope to see you in Great Falls - we have an extra bedroom for visitors!

Christmas 2008

We finally made it to Washington on Christmas morning (in our free First Class seats!) and found lots of snow! We were really glad that we canceled our rental car because it would have never made it up the road to my parents house. It snowed for two days then turned to rain and some melting - just enough to make the road really slick! Just when the grass started peeking through the snow, it snowed again! For those of you who are unfamiliar with western WA winter weather - this is not normal! My parents have never had snow continuously on the ground for four weeks! Here are a few pics from our great trip home for the holidays...

Ooops! Pa was a little too confident with AWD

First time sledding-they both loved it! Gracie even went down the hill all by herself!
