Gracie just wrapped up a 5-day horse camp at Pine Trails Ranch in
Davis, CA. Initially, she wouldn't let on that she was having a good
time but after the second day she couldn't stop smiling. Her horse's
name was Manly and she learned to clean hooves, put on saddles, pads,
halter and bridal, correctly lead and mount, ride bareback and English
saddle, trot, post, and bathe her horse. Every afternoon they'd watch a
horse-movie while eating lunch and in-between activities had a workbook
to complete on horse anatomy, colors/patterns, horse tack, and
nutrition. She's already talking about taking the next level up...
