Fly Fishing & Squirrel Hunting

I think Jason had a pretty fabulous Father's Day weekend. :)

He started it Thursday night by heading south to a cabin on Wood Lake. He was up by 4:30am to do some fly fishing and didn't come home until Friday night.

Clearly, this is moose country!

Late Saturday, our friends Bruce & Patti from Raymond, WA drove over for a quick visit. While they were here, Jason took them out ground squirrel shooting. Let's just say, that all of them (Jason included) wants to do that again! :)

Weekend Happenings

Our friend John had some business at the Air Force base this week, so he came a day early and hung out with us. Jessie loved flirting with him. :)

This may be why Jessie is sleeping 8-10 hours straight every night!

I told Jason that if he doesn't want Emmett playing dress-up with Gracie's dance-wear, then he needs to get Emmett some more masculine dress-up clothes. :)

Practice-run on the camping. Jason put the tent up in the yard and the three of them camped-out one night last week. We just hope they got all the bugs out of their system because there wasn't a lot of sleeping going on! We head to WA to go camping, for three nights, over the 4th of July.

Just a few pics of the kids and I couldn't decide which one was the best, so I posted several!

Jessie is Two Months Old!

Our sweet baby is already two months old! She has slept at least 8 straight hours two of the last three nights, so we're on our way to restful nights - yeah!

How Jessie measured up:
11.15 lbs (about the 60th %tile)

23 1/8" long (about the 80th %tile)

At two months Gracie was:

12.5 lbs (90th %tile)
24 1/2" long (above the 95th %tile)

At one month (he didn't see the doctor at 2 months) Emmett was:
11.6 lbs (95th %tile)
24.5 inches long (95th %tile)

Water Play

The air temp was warm, so the kids were anxious to play in the water. They didn't expect the water to be so cold and even when their lips turned purple, they didn't want to come in!
